12 and 24 Month Parts and Labour Warranty terms as below:

Our 12 – 24 month parts and labour guarantee is valid only if the installation is undertaken by COOLMANUK RETAIL SOLUTIONS engineers.

Under the terms of the 12 month part and labour guarantee offered by COOLMANUK RETAIL SOLUTIONS this warranty is free of charge, however a further warranty is available to ensure the continued smooth running of your refrigerated units. Under the full parts and labour guarantee the following are covered:

• Compressor and it’s components
• Digital temperature displays (Digital Controller)
• Fans and fan motors
• All pipe work
• Evaporator

The following (which are beyond the control of COOLMANUK RETAIL SOLUTIONS) are NOT covered under the terms and conditions of the 12 month parts and labour guarantee:

• Night Blinds
• Electrical cabling between the unit and the mains
• Light Bulbs
• Vandalism / Physical damage to the unit or parts thereof
• Rust / Scratches
• Condensate pump (any water leakage caused by pump is chargeable) unless a special stainless steel dairy pump is purchased at the time of order

COOLMANUK RETAIL SOLUTIONS retain the right to refuse to locate units in un-recommended or unsafe locations and where contrary to health and safety regulations.

Please note that in cases where the unit is located contrary to the advice and recommendations of our engineers, no guarantee can be offered for any failure to function. Performance of units located contrary to our advice is solely at the risk of the customer.

COOLMANUK RETAIL SOLUTIONS accepts no responsibility for any disputes over noise levels. All our equipment meet the Health & Safety criteria and fall well within the accepted decibel levels. However, the customer IS responsible for ensuring that any neighbour or local authority approvals are gained prior to the installation of the units.

No abuse, whether physical or verbal will be tolerated towards our staff, who retain the right to leave site without completing the works in such circumstances. We operate a strictly ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards our professionals, and ask that you respect their knowledge and allow them free and uninterrupted access to carry out their works safely and professionally.

COOLMANUK RETAIL SOLUTIONS accepts no responsibility where engineers other than those employed by ourselves or where sub-contractors other than those approved by and authorised by COOLMANUK RETAIL SOLUTIONS have attempted to rectify any fault.

COOLMANUK RETAIL SOLUTIONS agree to endeavour to send an engineer within 4-8hrs for the frozen products and emergency breakdown, 8-24hrs for serious breakdown and 24-48hrs for a minor breakdown.

In the event of an abortive call-out, a fee of £250 will be payable by the customer.

CUSTOMERS OBLIGATIONS

• To demonstrate understanding of their health and safety obligations.
• To have knowledge of refrigerated food and the correct temperatures required for their storage.
• To display products within the refrigerated area.
• To ensure that the cabinet and the condensing unit is cleaned regularly.
• To maintain continuous power to the unit.
• To undertake preventative maintenance service annually as required by law under the F-Gas regulations.
• To inform COOLMANUK RETAIL SOLUTIONS in case of gas leakage or any abnormal running of the unit.
• To read and KEEP these terms and conditions.
• To keep record of visits and service undertaken by COOLMANUK RETAIL SOLUTIONS engineers.
• To be aware of damage that refrigerant gas can cause to the environment.

OUR OBLIGATIONS

• To maintain the safe working of equipment supplied and installed by COOLMANUK RETAIL SOLUTIONS.
• To respond to any breakdown on time.
• To cause minimal disruption to your business while working on site.
• To provide a polite and professional service at all times.
